Join us for the 32nd annual Massachusetts Marine Educators conference at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) as we investigate The International Polar Year program. WHOI scientists Mary-Louise Timmermans and Hal Caswell and MBL’s Ecosystem Center Co-Director, Hugh Ducklow, connect the polar dots to Massachusetts through their research in the Arctic and Antarctic. Learn about their work, their experiences and how their findings might impact all of us. Teacher-led workshops and tours of local facilities will wrap up a full day of marine science and collegial interaction. Join colleagues who love the ocean as you collect teaching resources, exchange ideas, and earn PDPs

COST: $55 (includes Cape Cod chowder and teaching materials)
We welcome first time new members at $35.
