Saturday May 1st, 2010 8:30am – 4:30pm

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Redfield Auditorium

Alien Invasion!

Introduced species continue to have a major impact on our coastal ecology. Join us for a conference, which will, among other things, explore the science, the issues, and influence of these invaders to marine communities.

One of the leading experts in the field of “marine invasives”, Dr. Judy Pederson from the M.I.T. Sea Grant College Program will highlight the speakers program.

WHOI 2010 Judy Peterson

In addition to presenters from the scientific community you will receive classroom materials, a chowder lunch followed by afternoon workshops and field trips.
